About

SheepGate Christian Fellowship is an evangelical congregation with 100 total members and growing, including about 50 active volunteers currently living in the San Pedro City area. The church is located at the second floor of Genber Emporium in Brgy. Nueva, one of the oldest neighborhoods in San Pedro City, Laguna. San Pedro is located in Region 4A or CALABARZON. San Pedro is the boundary between Laguna and Metro Manila, so it is known as "Laguna's Gateway to Metro Manila".
Our church, SheepGate Christian Fellowship, a member of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches, was founded in 2007 by a visionary group of families that shared a dream: to build a church that preaches the gospel and reflects the spirit of religious freedom rooted in the Evangelistic tradition and approach. We also envisioned a place of faithful and holy Church of God composed of mature disciples of Jesus Christ, where people would have the right to interpret scripture for themselves and where congregants could serve as priests to one another. The cornerstone of our ministry has always been to glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
Our doors are open to all who wish to follow Jesus on a journey of faith. SheepGate Christian Fellowship is a healthy church in the midst of transitions. The church is blessed to have a strong preacher and a vigorous leader who, as a Senior Pastor – Eleazar B. Fresno, works with the congregation to build on the church’s progressive tradition as embodied in its open and inquiring approach to theology, its dedication to Christian education and its commitment to taking care of people in need. We are people on a journey of faith. With prayers that we will find God’s will for our future, we are looking for the right man or woman to become our volunteers and experience that exciting journey as a part of our spirited, challenging, always dedicated community of faith.
Our programs are as follows:
EGroup – Evangelism Group which should run up to six months from launch which will eventually transition to the DGroup. This focuses on new converts and teaching them the principles of salvation and spiritual maturity.
DGroup – Discipleship Group - This type is not just restricted to the temple courts (worship services) and houses. It should be experienced in church buildings, offices, fast food chains, coffee shops, and wherever gathering places in our culture exist which make community. The rationale to connect to more tenured members and ultimately grow and mature spiritually.
Trailblazers (Youth Ministry) - is an age-specific ministry. They carry out youth ministry to involve and engage with young people who attend their places of worship. They keep encouraging young people (whether they have professed a faith or not) to learn more about faith and to become more involved in spiritual life.
Men’s Ministry - These small group studies were created to minister to men in spiritual growth levels to allow men to grow in Christ. This focuses on men who are discovering Christ or taking their first steps in Christ. The courage level will give application and implementation exercises for spiritual growth. This level gives encouragement and engagement of Kingdom principles so those who are currently serving in key leadership assignments will find a deeper sense of their spiritual purpose in ministry.
Women’s Ministry - It exists to serve women and to teach them how to serve to others. It is action based and focuses on living a Christian life based on the Bible.
They are often responsible for coordinating and leading events specifically for women. Their primary goal is to assemble the women of the church to spend time together developing their knowledge of God.
